As of Today, PittGrid has reached the milestone of serving more than One Million CPU Hours
to the Pitt Community and its researchers, providing resources and assistance in performing
their research and high-throughput computing.

Six High Memory IBM Power4 machines are added to PittGrid to support Memory Intensive Jobs.
Three of them are 8 Core, 16 GB Memory and remaining three are 8 Core, 32 GB Memory.

120 new Windows Cores has been added to PittGrid, which bring total of more than 400 heterogeneous Cores (Slots)
available in PittGrid to run simulations and computationally demanding jobs from Pitt researchers.
